Restart the Day

Some days get off to a bad start. You missed the alarm; what happened with that? The car wouldn’t start, the kids were whinny, your spouse chose 7:15 to resume an argument from the night before. You leave the house all bent out of shape.

Restart the Day. Stop, relax, breathe deeply, and do this: turn your left palm upward; take your right index finger and press into the middle of your left palm; hold for three seconds.

Done! The day is now fresh, untethered from earlier heaviness. Breathe again, feeling the cool, fragrant air pass through your nostrils. Walk with a relaxed gate. Let your body shake free.

This is going to be an amazing day, and it has just started!
