Living at Half-Throttle

There’s something to be said for living at half-throttle. Medium. Well-balanced. Averaged out. Not too.

This is not to say one shouldn’t push it all the way forward sometimes. But you can’t keep it there, lest you risk – or rather, face – the inevitable burn-out. One can go all day on Medium. Saves energy for the occasional sprint.

Decisions? To sell or hold? 50%: sell half, hold half. May only be half right, but you’re never more than half wrong. In such an uncertain world, 500 is not a bad batting average. In my world, it’s a clear improvement.
